What is Vita Health Group’s EAP?

Vita Health Group’s Employee Assistance Programme is a 24/7 employee benefit programme, designed to support your people’s wellbeing when they need it, where they need it.

Primarily offered via a telephone support helpline (24/7, 365 days a year) or digital portal, the EAP service offers immediate and practical emotional support or guidance on issues – both personal and work-related – that could be impacting employee wellbeing. It’s not just for employees, services also extend to other groups such as managers and students.

The service is completely confidential, robust, clinically governed, evidence-based, and where patient-centred care is central.

Vita also provides clients with access to a digital health and wellbeing portal. This extends the EAP service by offering employees access to wellbeing content (articles, resources, recipes) and Guided Self-Help via Computerised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

EAP and beyond

You can add further mental health treatments to your EAP service. Where an employee requires additional emotional support, they can be referred to low-intensity CBT and structured counselling (face-to-face, telephone, video conference) via the EAP service.

For more complex and severe cases of mental ill-health (moderate-severe anxiety and depression), employees can be referred to Vita’s high-intensity Psychological Therapy Services (PTS).
