Requirements:
The post holder will work as part of the team at Spire Occupational Health and will be responsible for delivery of the health surveillance clinics – travel to client site will be required on a regular basis.
The post holder will be required to provide accurate written, electronic, and verbal reports always observing confidentiality.
Other duties and responsibilities are:
- Undertaking health screening procedures
- Carrying out drug and alcohol testing
- Carrying out fitness for work medicals
- Undertaking health surveillance activities including audiometry and lung function testing
- Delivering health promotion activities
About you:
- Previous OH technician experience
- Has worked within a similar set up
- Being able to demonstrate reliability, punctuality and commitment to team working
- Be able to demonstrate good understanding of GDPR
- Be able to prioritise own workload and manage own time effectively
Essential:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrates an understanding of the needs of the client and the role of the OHT
- Previous experience in the role of HCA/Paramedic/Sport Science is a bonus
- Great customer service and interpersonal skills
